Dear Friend,

When it comes to health reform, it may seem like there are more questions than answers: Will my doctor still take Medicare? How will prescription drug coverage change? Is long-term care part of the proposal? And like any political hot topic, balanced information is hard to find.

That’s why I wanted to share with you a new Web site called SeniorstoSeniors.org. A group of organizations who advocate for and serve seniors came together and developed this site in order to give you the facts about health care reform and the benefits it offers America’s older adults.

The site’s centerpiece is a short video that provides a clear and concise overview of health reform and how it will:

  • Keep physicians in Medicare and stop payment cuts.
  • Improve long-term care choices.
  • Keep Medicare affordable and close the doughnut hole.

There’s also a section where you can find answers to the questions you may on a particular topic, like long-term care options or changes in insurance plans.

I encourage you to share this site with your friends, family members and colleagues in the community. Post the site on your Facebook profile. Watch the videos at your next civic group meeting. Whatever you do, sharing this information today will ensure more seniors have better health care tomorrow.
